Fine Batik & Indonesian Textiles
From the hands of master artisans to your wardrobe — each Bumi Asia Nusantara piece carries the patience, symbolism, and skill of Indonesia's oldest textile tradition.
Bumi Asia Nusantara began as a small family workshop in the heart of Java, where batik has been made by hand for over a century. Every piece starts the same way it always has — with wax, a canting, and an artisan's steady hand.
We work with cooperatives of makers across Yogyakarta and Solo, each specializing in techniques passed down through generations: hand-drawn tulis, stamped cap, and natural indigo dyeing. No two pieces are ever quite identical.
What we offer isn't fast fashion — it's a textile tradition recognized by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage. We simply make it easier to bring a piece of that heritage home.
Each motif tells a story — from the royal courts of Java to contemporary reinterpretations for modern living. Browse the pieces below, then reach out on WhatsApp to inquire.
